About The Position

A knowledgeable and customer‑focused Desktop Support Technician is needed to provide technical assistance across multiple local sites. This role involves supporting end users both remotely and in person, performing installation, troubleshooting, and repair of devices in a Windows‑based environment. The position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while traveling within the assigned region. Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar technical role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Experience supporting Windows‑based environments.
  • Basic understanding of network connectivity and device configurations.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in uncomfortable positions for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and stay organized.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with imaging, deployments, and user account support.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑based environments and directory services.
  • Exposure to ticketing systems and structured support workflows.
  • Ability to support a variety of hardware including desktops, peripherals, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop support including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware and software.
  • Assist end users both remotely and on‑site across multiple nearby counties.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting and escalate issues when needed.
  • Support additional technology systems such as printers, peripherals, and related equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within a ticketing system.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and build strong working relationships with end users.
  • Work independently while managing daily tasks and travel between supported locations.
  • Lift and carry equipment and work in physically demanding positions when required.
  • Follow established procedures and adapt to working in secure or structured environments.
  • Complete required training to ensure proper conduct, safety awareness, and operational readiness.
