More about us: https://www.hach.com/about-us The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the delivery of high-quality customer service, performing preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of Hach devices located at our customer sites. The customer base for this role is anticipated to be a combination of municipal (i.e., drinking and wastewater treatment facilities) and industrial (i.e., power plants and food and beverage plants). This position is part of the North America Field Service Team, based in Cheyenne, Wyoming (or within a two-hour radius) and will be remote. In this role, you will: Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work. Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems. Submits prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure. Executes administrative activities in support of service visits. Work in a wide variety of municipal and industrial settings, including but not limited to drinking water & wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, food & beverage processing facilities, etc. Some applications may involve instrument servicing in NEC hazardous locations (Class I Division 2) 50-75% travel within a 2-hour radius of Cheyenne, WY. You can expect to have up to on average 1-3 nights away each week with company-paid accommodations and meals.
