About The Position

Respond to incoming customer calls for service and spare parts Maintain and operate lab machines for customer and internal trials Create machine recipes for new tooling and debug Process Provide support for machine installation and machine retrofits Provide training to our customers on Process, Maintenance, and machine operation Provide technical support to our customers at both their sites and remotely Provide machine startup and commissioning after installation Handle machine acceptance both at the Factory and at the customer site Travel as necessary and required to meet customers schedule (up to 75%) Provide internal Sales support Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork as required for expenses, travel, and service reports on a timely basis Serve as ambassador for BGU while interacting with customers Proactively contact current customers to promote spare parts and service sales Job requires mechanical and electrical duties

Requirements

  • Solid Electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • Must work well in a team environment and independently
  • Must learn quickly and be able to hone-in troubleshooting skills in a dynamic environment
  • Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
  • Job requires mechanical and electrical duties

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience operating packaging thermoforming machinery a plus
  • Process knowledge of packaging thermoforming machinery a plus
