About The Position

As Field Service Engineer (FSE), You will be responsible providing hands-on technical support for laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, including imaging, hardware diagnostics, inventory management, on windows-based systems as well as Mac system troubleshooting to end users.  This role blends technical expertise with customer-facing communication skills, ensuring reliable service delivery and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support.
  • Strong technical knowledge with windows operating system, common desktop applications, and basic networking knowledge.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical documentation, Mac operating system is an advantage.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and unforeseen technical challenges.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and independent decision-making ability.

Responsibilities

  • Performing imaging, configuration and deployment of laptops/desktops using tools such as SCCM or Intune.
  • Set up and configure device for new hires onboarding by preparing and delivering fully functional IT equipment.
  • Install and configure peripherals including printer, scanner, docking stations, and monitors.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and field repairs on hardware and/or software components.
  • Diagnose technical issues remotely and on-site to minimize downtime, including mobile device and VPN troubleshooting.
  • Provide customer training, technical support, and operational guidance.
  • Manage and update IT asset inventory, including asset tagging, tracking and decommissioning of devices. Perform regular audits of IT assets and update records in asset management system.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to report field issues and propose improvements.
  • Maintain tools, test equipment, and company assets in good working condition.
  • Comply with safety protocols, quality standards, and company procedures
