About The Position

ASRC Federal is looking for a Staff Engineer to join our team. We are a small to mid-size, multi-discipline architectural/engineering firm specializing in commercial-type infrastructure and facility design for the United States Air Force, serving specifically at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma.We are seeking qualified applicants to serve the needs of Vance AFB Base Operations Support (BOS) Contract.Responsibilities:Coordinating with in-house professional staff (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architect) and in-house construction personnel.Performing and delivering technical reviews of data deliverables, including design and construction documents.Gather and analyze project data and presenting information in various facets. Graphic preparation and analysis using AutoCAD and Revit. Providing cost and schedule analysis. Assisting in planning, coordinating and facilitating project meetings and site visits.Assisting with performing QC oversight of field and programmatic activities.Office construction administration including review of shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and coordinate with construction management, through the construction phase of the project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, industrial engineering or other relevant area from an accredited university.
  • Experience is preferred, but on the job training is available for recently graduated applicants.
  • Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is a preferred for applicants with an engineering degree.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is a preferred for applicants with an engineering degree.
