Field Service Tech / Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Denver Area
About The Position
Are you ready to join the 4Rivers Equipment dream team? We're on a mission to keep our customers' equipment running like a charm, and we need highly skilled, self-motivated, and efficient Service Technicians to make it happen! Commerce City, CO currently looking for qualified candidates to fill multiple positions! The successful candidate will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in-field, machinery diagnostics and repairs as required, representing the dealership with efficiency and professionalism by providing service solutions and enhanced customer service second to none.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Vocation or technical degree, or equivalent work experience or training
- Strong communication skills and self-motivated spirit
Nice To Haves
- CDL not required but preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of heavy equipment.
- Engine rebuilds, axle reconditions, hydraulic valves and pump wizardry, and transmission repairs are all in a day's work!
- Remove, disassemble, clean, repair, recondition, assemble components or parts.
- Keep meticulous records of equipment hours, serial numbers, complaints, causes, and corrections.
- Be a mentor and guide for other technicians and apprentice technicians.
- Attend company sponsored training to level up your skills, knowledge, and expertise.
- Keep our service trucks and all company assets in top-notch shape.
- Always put safety first by adhering to all established safety protocols whether you're operating power tools, lifts, welders, or cranes.
