Shop Service Technician / Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Denver Area
About The Position

We're on a mission to keep our customers' equipment running like a charm, and we need highly skilled, self-motivated, and efficient Service Technicians to make it happen! Commerce City is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill multiple positions with all levels of experience. Your Epic Duties: Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of heavy equipment. Engine rebuilds, axle reconditions, hydraulic valves and pump wizardry, and transmission repairs are all in a day's work! Remove, disassemble, clean, repair, recondition, assemble components or parts. Keep meticulous records of equipment hours, serial numbers, complaints, causes, and corrections. Be a mentor and guide for other technicians and apprentice technicians. Attend company sponsored training to level up your skills, knowledge, and expertise. Keep our service trucks and all company assets in top-notch shape. Always put safety first whether you're operating power tools, lifts, welders, or cranes. Embrace and embody the standards and values of 4Rivers Equipment. And, of course, tackle any other task assigned with efficiency and professionalism.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Vocation or technical degree, or equivalent work experience or training
- Strong communication skills and self-motivated spirit
