About The Position

As a Metrohm Field Service Specialist, you’ll be the face of our Service team—providing technical support and on-site service that keeps our customers’ instruments running at peak performance. You will: Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop analytical systems. Support customers both on-site and remotely (via phone, email, Teams). Manage a dynamic schedule across the territory. Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to deliver seamless customer experience. 📍  This role covers Los Angeles and nearby California regions extending to the Nevada border.  Candidates should be comfortable managing travel and adapting to varying client needs and environments. Requirements

  • BS/BA in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience repairing laboratory instrumentation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally outside the region.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check, education and employment verification, and a 10-panel drug screening (including marijuana).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience traveling for field service work.
  • Familiarity with process-based applications.
