About The Position

SW Regional Territory – TX, NM, OK, KS, MO, AR – MUST RESIDE IN ONE OF THESE STATES The Southwestern Service Manager provides assistance to our Dealers and their Service Departments to resolve service and quality problems with LS Tractor USA products. This position provides technical information and training to Dealer Service Department employees on new and existing products. The Service Manager will participate in delivering Service School presentations either in person or via recorded presentations .Service Managers are assigned a geographic territory and provide quality service to our customers in their territory, creating positive business relationships and building on the LS Tractor reputation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional experience will be accepted in lieu of education.
  • 5 years of experience as a diesel heavy equipment, or tractor mechanic, previous experience as a tractor service technician or service manager is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Requires strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to read, comprehend and apply technical service material.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • The ability to travel 3 to 4 days each week.
  • The ability to understand and operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office software

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a tractor service technician or service manager is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly visits Dealer locations to provide help in resolving service and quality problems.
  • Provides product information and training to Dealer Service Department personnel.
  • Represents LS Tractor USA during regular visits to Dealers in their assigned Service area.
  • Participates in Service School presentations either in person or via video recording.
  • Plans and executes weekly Dealer visit schedule.
  • Receives Dealer calls about service problems, diagnoses possible problems and recommends diagnostic processes or repair procedure to resolve the problem.
  • Communicates weekly through written reports, email, text and telephone.
