This company is looking for a Field Service Engineer to provide technical support for their unique, custom -built material testing machines. This highly autonomous role requires extensive travel (90 -100%) to customer facilities to install, commission, service, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment. You'll be the face of the company, ensuring high customer satisfaction through your technical expertise, problem -solving skills, and ability to train customers. You'll need to be a quick learner, able to think on your feet, and adept at troubleshooting complex electro -mechanical devices using schematics and mechanical drawings. The goal is to resolve all issues on the first visit, aiming for zero call -backs. The company values individuals who are eager to learn, friendly, and capable of self -correction. While you'll receive comprehensive training on their specialized equipment, a strong foundation in electrical (up to 480V), hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is essential.
