About The Position

Summary Conducts activities concerned with investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems with UASC products and eliminating future operational or service difficulties by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provides on-site technical assistance for product installation, integration, ground and flight testing of complex avionics. Reviews performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives and inspects malfunctioning or damaged product to determine nature and scope of problem. Analyzes inspection findings to determine source of problem, and recommends repair, replacement, or other corrective action. Coordinates problem resolution with engineering, marketing, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs. Represents company in dealings with customers; responsible for customer satisfaction. Provide after hour support as needed. Extensive US and international travel is required. Requirements

  • A.S. degree in a technical field or equivalent experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10 or more years of hands-on field service experience in aviation with at least five years of field service experience with Universal Avionics products.
  • Demonstrated competency and high level of understanding/experience in support of Flight Management Systems, flight deck instruments, flight guidance, and peripheral equipment.
  • Demonstrated self-reliance in support of integration, installation, configuration, checkout, troubleshooting, and flight test of Universal Avionics products in the field.
