About The Position

As a Field Service Engineer within our Environmental Municipal Civil business, you will play a hands-on role keeping essential vehicles and equipment working where they matter most. This Field Service Engineer role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and being trusted to get the job done right. Service, maintain and repair EMC assets including HGVs, sweepers, tankers, grabs, RCVs, tippers and forklifts Attend breakdowns and planned maintenance to keep customers operational Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults using modern tools Complete inspections, reports and job records electronically Manage your own workload, time, and vehicle stock effectively About You You are a practical engineer who enjoys problem solving and working independently in the field. You take pride in doing things properly and supporting customers face to face. Requirements

  • Experience working on HGVs, municipal vehicles, plant, forklifts or similar equipment
  • A recognised mechanical or engineering qualification, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Confident fault finding across diesel engines, hydraulics, electrics and pneumatics
  • Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and repair EMC assets including HGVs, sweepers, tankers, grabs, RCVs, tippers and forklifts
  • Attend breakdowns and planned maintenance to keep customers operational
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults using modern tools
