About The Position

Maintaining production equipment in a highly precise manufacturing environment. This position entails accomplishing all preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance and installations on a variety of vacuum, temperature control and exhaust management systems. Maintaining and replacing equipment, tools, and supplies when used, providing written documentation of repairs, palletizing/depalletizing equipment and interfacing with the customer.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, analyze and interpret written document
Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquires
Ability to prepare reports, and write business correspondence

Nice To Haves

Two (2) or more years experience interacting with customers preferred.
Hands-on experience with vacuum pumps such as Edwards, Ebara, Alcatel and Leybold dry, rotary vane and boosters preferred.
College or specific relevant coursework preferred
Industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

De-palletize and preflight vacuum pumps for use by the customer.
Perform vacuum pump preventative maintenance.
Deinstall failed pumps and install rebuilt pumps.
Prepare vacuum pumps for shipment.
Work with customer personnel to troubleshoot vacuum issues with chambers, forelines and vacuum pumps.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Gas Abatement Systems.
