Field Service Engineer 2 (Commerce IT Engineering)
About The Position
Assists in administration of integrated audio, visual, and AV control systems and supports improvements necessary to ensure operation of Choctaw Nation systems. You will report to the Audio-Visual Manager. Primary Tasks: You will perform moderately complex tasks around configuration and maintenance of both IPTV/Digital signage and integrated audio systems. Lead deployment tasks of small to moderately sized audio and video systems. Perform basic analysis of system performance. Perform basic tasks around configuration and maintenance of command-and-control systems. Reduce vendor labor costs by being an on-site hand for vendor/mfg phone support. You will train Information Systems Engineer 1 in basic system knowledge, management, and troubleshooting. Lead in maintaining inventory logs of stored equipment. Ensure storage areas and work areas are kept organized and functional. Increase quality of guest experience by responding to issues relating to AV systems with efficiency. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Audio and video technology, broadcasting, audio production, video production or related field or CTS certification or 4 years related experience.
- 2+ years' experience supporting Live production systems or integrated Systems Infrastructure.
- Experience in managing, and troubleshooting Systems infrastructure based on best practices.
- analog/digital signal distribution system troubleshooting knowledge
- Server operating system, virtual switching matrix software use, and troubleshooting knowledge.
- Network infrastructure operations and basic troubleshooting knowledge
Nice To Haves
- AV Certifications a plus (CTS, Crestron, AMX/Harman)
