About The Position

Mustang Cat, the authorized Caterpillar® dealer for Southeast Texas, is hiring a Machinery Field Service Dispatcher to coordinate customer service requests for heavy and light Caterpillar construction equipment across the Houston area. This role ensures timely scheduling, communication, and follow-up so our customers experience world-class service and uptime on their machines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of dispatching experience in a service-related industry
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional communication skills (verbal, written, phone, email)
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of construction equipment
• Forklift experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs in the field by scheduling technicians and ensuring timely response
• Communicate with customers and sales reps regarding repair status
• Open, edit, review, and invoice work orders
• Coordinate parts orders and component repairs to support field service jobs
• Monitor field service expenses, technician overtime, and job progress
• Address customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
• Support the service team with accurate documentation and updates
