Requirements

  • Proven experience as a power electronics repair technician or similar role.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to write detailed and accurate reports.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Familiarity with electronic theory, troubleshooting and reading schematics.
  • Must be a self-starter, work independently, detail oriented, well organized and the ability to multitask with strong work ethics.
  • Computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Must be able to pass a nationwide background check / drug screen.
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Able to lift 50lbs and willingness to operate a hand-lift.
  • Travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Support all pre and post sales activities.
  • Service and repair DC power supplies and electronic loads by troubleshooting to a module level.
  • Install and commission new power systems at customers’ facility.
  • Provide training to customers on the use of power supplies and electronic loads.
  • Read electrical schematics.
  • Provide excellent customer support.
  • Write detailed service and field reports.
  • Coordinate with other teams to resolve complex application issues.
  • Support quality assurance functions to ensure a superior customer experience.
  • Drive customer issues to resolution
  • Provide feedback to factory regarding field failures and common application questions.
  • Reproduce customer failures in the lab in order to report the information to factory engineers.
  • Plan and record how-to and product demo videos.
  • Manage customer expectations while working on resolving customer’s issue.
