About The Position

This role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive sales training programs for field teams and customers across key procedural areas. You will lead initiatives that integrate product knowledge, sales strategies, and organizational goals into impactful learning experiences. Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and training leadership, you will ensure employees are equipped with the skills and insights to drive customer success. This hands-on role requires coaching, mentoring, and delivering both in-person and virtual training while analyzing performance metrics to continuously improve program effectiveness. You will play a pivotal part in shaping the learning culture and supporting the growth of a high-performing sales organization. Travel is required up to 50% of the time, primarily within the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced education is a plus.
  • 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in sales, marketing, or training within the medical or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of product portfolios, competitive solutions, and procedural best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, capable of engaging both large and small audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, curriculum design, and performance coaching.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and deliver new hire and ongoing sales training programs, including online, in-field, and national conference formats.
  • Collaborate with product managers, clinical specialists, and sales leadership to create effective Agile Selling materials and briefs.
  • Coach field sales teams on product functionality, competitive positioning, procedural techniques, and territory management.
  • Assess training effectiveness using participant feedback, sales performance metrics, and business insights, recommending enhancements as needed.
  • Facilitate training sessions, provide constructive feedback, and support individual development plans for sales professionals.
  • Ensure training materials and programs are updated, accurate, and aligned with organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Partner with regional leadership to identify skill gaps and provide targeted in-field training support.
