About The Position

Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction management experience in a safety-related role.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and other aspects of safety management including: OSHA Standards (California and Nevada) MSHA Standards – Federal and State Employee Training Jobsite Inspections Safety record reporting Administrative documentation maintenance Risk management / incident prevention Case Management
  • Proficiency and comfort with technology tools and programs (Blue Beam, Power Point, Speed Sheet)
  • Is able to demonstrate professional leadership skills
  • exhibits strong communication skills
  • works collaboratively with peers and colleagues
  • Is detail-oriented and organized
  • builds relationships with coworkers, field employees, and clients by being personable, professional, considerate and fun
  • consistently follows through on commitments
  • offers flexibility and strong prioritization skills
  • performs under pressure to deliver work within deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Mining experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and facilitate safety training programs and new employee safety orientation
  • Recommend corrective action to incidents to prevent similar occurrences
  • Annually review the written safety program and edit as necessary
  • Perform job-site investigations by documenting vital facts in written reports
  • Maintain and review various safety records including permits, citations and billing
