The Sales Development Intern will support PURIS’s Commercial team in connecting innovative plant-based ingredients with food manufacturers and brands around the world. You’ll gain hands-on experience in how sustainable food products move from concept to customer, learning the fundamentals of relationship-building, business development, and market analysis in a dynamic, growing industry.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: comfortable reaching out, asking questions, and sharing ideas.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel or CRM tools (Salesforce experience a plus)
  • Curiosity about the food manufacturing industry and passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sales and Marketing teams to identify potential customers and business opportunities in the plant-based food sector.
  • Assist with lead generation, CRM data management, and pipeline tracking to support sales outreach.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activity, and new product opportunities.
  • Support the creation of sales presentations, ingredient samples, and customer-facing materials.
  • Participate in internal meetings and cross-functional collaborations with R&D, Operations, and Marketing to understand how PURIS delivers value from product to plate.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Sales Development team as needed.
