The Department of Urology is a leading center for clinical care, research, and education in urologic diseases. We are seeking a motivated Research Intern to join our team focused on advancing knowledge in prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers through clinical research. This internship provides an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in clinical research while contributing to projects that aim to improve oncologic outcomes. The role involves participation in data collection, chart review, data analysis, data interpretation, and manuscript preparation for publication. Program Timeline & Learning Objectives Months 1–2: Orientation to Cedars-Sinai, the lab environment, and workflows. Learn to read medical records and understand patient care trajectories. Months 3–4: Exploration of existing databases and addition of clinical details to build patient histories. Months 5–6: Development of proficiency in data analysis and interpretation. Months 7–8: Begin manuscript authorship. Months 9–10: Create manuscripts and prepare submissions for abstracts and peer-reviewed publications. Months 11–12: Publish findings and learn the peer-review and revision process.
