About The Position

AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Field Project Specialist to provide comprehensive project support for environmental compliance, requisition-to-pay processes, and field operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project administration, environmental reporting, and vendor management, with proficiency in SAP and related platforms. The role will be considered ‘on-site’ full time and will have a heavy component of client facing procurement support and payment processing in ARIBA, SAP, and similar procurement systems.

Requirements

  • BA or BS in any field of study and (4+) Four years of experience in project administration or field project support or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. (environmental or industrial sectors preferred)
  • Due to the nature of the role, sponsorship will not be available for this position, candidates must be a US Citizen or permanent resident card holder.
  • Successful candidate will have to undergo a background check, motor vehicle record check, and a client specific drug/alcohol assessment program.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years in project administration or field project support (environmental or industrial sectors preferred).
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance reporting and hazardous waste management.
  • Proficiency in SAP, S2P, Webcycle, Enfos, and IPay platforms.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, SharePoint).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with remote and international teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage reports for environmental remediation and waste tracking.
  • Support multiple client projects, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Compile and submit quarterly and annual hazardous waste reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Manage reporting for POTW permits, flow reports, and self-monitoring requirements.
  • Track and report manifested waste disposal and associated costs.
  • Enter requisitions, process invoices, and resolve invoicing issues across multiple platforms (SAP, S2P, Webcycle, Enfos, IPay).
  • Monitor Purchase Orders for NTE values and ensure proper documentation for billing.
  • Process Service Entry Sheets (SES) for multiple vendors.
  • Train contractors and client personnel on SAP, S2P, and IPay platforms.
  • Provide guidance on SES entry and platform navigation for procurement processes.
  • Compile and report monthly exposure hours for field teams.
  • Maintain safety data in client SharePoint and support project directors with compliance metrics.
