Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Superintendent to lead and manage on-site operations for environmental remediation projects. This is a field-based role covering the Atlanta market and Southeastern U.S., requiring travel to various job sites and close coordination with crews, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant project execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in environmental remediation fieldwork
  • Comfortable running crews and coordinating multiple vendors at once
  • You’ve worked with heavy equipment, treatment systems, and environmental monitoring tools
  • Valid certifications or willingness to obtain:
  • HAZWOPER (40-Hour)
  • OSHA 30-Hour

Responsibilities

  • Run day-to-day site work for environmental remediation projects
  • Supervise crews, subcontractors, and equipment on active sites
  • Oversee system installations: SVE, air sparge, dual-phase extraction, pump-and-treat, etc.
  • Manage excavation, transport, and disposal of contaminated soil
  • Make sure fieldwork follows design specs, health & safety plans, and regulatory standards
  • Track materials, deliveries, change orders, and daily site reports
  • Communicate with project managers, clients, and regulators on-site
