About The Position

Arthrex Inc. is hiring a Field Operations Loaner Material Handler to work at our Logistics Center in Fort Myers, FL to be responsible for the receipt, sterilization, and prioritization of surgery-used loaner instrument kits, as well as, coordinating the transactions and movements of the loaner sets through the operations processes to ensure the kit is accurately assembled and repackaged in accordance with Arthrex standards in order to re-ship to the field. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better. Hours are 9:30am to 6pm EST. Training period hours will be 8:30am to 5:00pm EST.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work on a variety of items daily.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements.
  • Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.
  • Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
  • Ability to work well with a variety of team members effectively in a collaborative work environment.
  • Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
  • Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Experience with material and handling and processing working in a medical device industry or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform activities related to the receiving, cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of loaner devices.
  • Assist with the proper processing of loaner sets and associated sterilization processes and validations in accordance to procedures
  • Prepare devices for review as part of sterilization and/or cleaning validation.
  • Provide assistance with cleaning and sterilization process monitoring activities
