The Field Manager oversees and manages the pest control Service Technicians, providing them with training and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality services on every job.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
  • 1+ year of pest control experience, preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license, as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role. Driving record must meet the company’s insurance standards.
  • Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).
  • Must be able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl to access tight spaces like basements, attic and tight spaces
  • Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting
  • Requires clear vision for both close and distant tasks, with adjustable focus
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, perform physical tasks, and manage repetitive motions
  • Exposure to pesticides, chemicals, pests, mold, allergens, and structural hazards; safety gear required
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment

Responsibilities

  • Hire and train Service Technicians in compliance with local laws and regulations, ensuring they are well-prepared and licensed for the role.
  • Manage and evaluate the performance of Service Technicians, facilitating regular meetings and trainings to review services, processes, and protocols.
  • Issue pest control products and chemicals to technicians, conduct daily field audits through ride-alongs, and provide feedback to the Service Manager on findings.
  • Monitor technician schedules, manage service routes (including high-priority or emergency routes), run performance reports, and conduct regular truck inspections to ensure equipment, inventory, and cleanliness standards are met.
