About The Position

As a Pest Control Manager for our hotel portfolio, you will serve as the subject-matter expert responsible for safeguarding the cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort across all properties. This role oversees all pest prevention, treatment, and remediation efforts—including bed bug inspections and response—while maintaining strict compliance with state and federal regulations. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented leader with deep hospitality knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the certifications required to perform and oversee professional pest management.

Requirements

  • State Certified Pest Control Operator (PCO) or equivalent licensing for structural pest control, depending on state or regional requirements.
  • Certified Applicator License in General Household Pest & Rodent Control (GHPC) or Structural Pest Control.
  • Bed Bug Treatment Certification or documented professional training in bed bug inspection and eradication.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional pest management experience , preferably in commercial or hospitality settings.
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across hotel portfolio.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., access tight spaces, and work in varying environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading pest control programs across multiple sites or commercial facilities.
  • Prior experience in hotels, resorts, or large-scale hospitality operations.
  • Certifications such as: Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) Public Health Pest Control Certification National Bed Bug Management Professional Accreditation

Responsibilities

  • Property Oversight & Inspection Conduct routine and comprehensive pest inspections across multiple hotel properties, with strong emphasis on guest rooms, laundry, F&B outlets, and exterior areas.
  • Lead and oversee all bed bug monitoring, response, and eradication protocols.
  • Inspect and evaluate vendor treatments for quality, compliance, and long-term prevention effectiveness.
  • Program Management Develop, implement, and maintain an integrated pest management (IPM) program tailored for hospitality environments.
  • Maintain detailed logs, inspection reports, and treatment records in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure all hotels comply with health department, OSHA, EPA, and state regulatory requirements.
  • Training & Support Train property teams—front desk, housekeeping, engineering, and leadership—on pest prevention, bed bug awareness, and reporting procedures.
  • Provide rapid on-site support during escalated pest situations or guest-impacting incidents.
  • Vendor & Budget Oversight Manage relationships with outsourced pest control companies; monitor contracts for service quality and value.
  • Develop budgets, approve invoices, and recommend cost-effective pest solutions for the portfolio.
