Field Interviewers are responsible for frequently traveling to selected locations to recruit study participants. This involves making in-person contact with selected respondents to discuss the study, answer questions, and obtain their participation. The role requires the proper administration of computer-assisted interviews, collecting confidential information, and administering standardized questionnaires. Field Interviewers must independently manage administrative duties, including participating in conference calls and completing online trainings, and are responsible for transmitting data as scheduled. They assume full legal responsibility for the use and care of project-issued equipment, safeguarding participant incentives and project materials against damage, loss, or theft, and carefully tracking all participant incentives. The position also entails submitting timely and accurate Time & Expense reports, virtually attending scheduled meetings with the project team, approaching selected households without prior appointment, and working and driving after dark. Field Interviewers must attend weekly scheduled calls with their Field Supervisor, adhere to a schedule set by the Field Supervisor for respondent contact times, provide availability for field observations, and maintain required system updates to project equipment and complete administrative tasks.
