If you're ready to take on the challenge, Mid-States Concrete Industries is hiring top talent to join our growing Road Crew team! The Road Crew Team is responsible for installing precast building products at Mid-States Concrete Industries job sites. Under the supervision of their Foreman, they participate in install by following processes established to promote quality, safety, and efficiency. They are motivated individuals, able to manage their own time efficiently in a team environment.
Requirements
- Must be 18+
- Valid Driver’s license / must pass motor vehicle record check for insurance
- Experience with hand and power tools including cement saws, concrete drills, Training
- Welding (Stick)
- Experience operating Boom Arial, Construction Equipment, Bobcat, Skid Loader, Lull
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in concrete work, construction labor, or precast manufacturing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Execute tasks and assignments as directed by the foreman, maintaining clear communication and understanding of instructions
- Comply with all Mid-States Concrete Industries safety procedures and policies. Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Support the setup, inspection, and secure handling of rigging equipment to ensure safe lifting of precast products
- Provide spotting and signaling assistance for cranes, trucks, and other equipment
- Operate tools like saws, drills, etc. in a safe and responsible manner
- Apply grout, patch anchor points, and perform minor surface finishing tasks as required
- Prepare and support welding, bolting, or other fastening operations, ensuring proper setup and safety
- Assist in confirming panel elevations, plumb, and alignment using measurement tools and laser equipment
- Ensure tools, rigging, and job site areas are organized, clean, and free of hazards
- Ability to read a tape measure and interpret technical construction drawings.
