About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AV Project Field Lead to oversee the successful implementation of commercial audiovisual projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and organizational skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. We are looking for an AV lead who read a blue print and doing installation from Soup to Nuts. Key Responsibilities This is a Direct hire, the client sites are spread throughout CT

Requirements

Audiovisual systems implementation and support
Cabling and infrastructure knowledge
Proven ability to lead teams and achieve results through others
Strong prioritization and conflict resolution skills
Effective training and mentoring capabilities
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs
Close vision capability for detailed work

Responsibilities

Collaborate with management to ensure proper staffing and provide necessary tools for project execution.
Coordinate with the AV Project Manager to requisition materials promptly and assist with logistics and onsite delivery of equipment.
Track labor and material costs throughout the project lifecycle.
Utilize Daily Job Journals, Inventory, Forms, and Communication Records to direct field personnel and maintain project schedules.
Stay current with emerging AV technologies and industry trends.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to field personnel.
Communicate any scope changes to the AV Project Manager and Design Team as they arise.
Report material or equipment failures requiring replacement to the AV Project Manager.
Perform daily onsite inspections of local work locations.
Prepare and submit required field documentation, including field drawings, cable certification reports, and applicable warranties.
Develop and strengthen subcontractor relationships.
Perform other duties as assigned.
