As an AV Field Engineer, you’ll lead the technical aspects of AV systems integration projects from design to commissioning. Partnering closely with Project Managers, you’ll oversee field installations, ensure project efficiency, and maintain high customer satisfaction. Safety is E2 Optics' number one Core Value. Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years at E2 Optics or 7+ years in AV field engineering at comparable firms.
  • Expertise in AV systems integration and project leadership.
  • General CTS certification (required).
  • Proficiency in system testing, programming, and installation.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with AV tools, DSP audio, and video conferencing technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced certifications (CAPM, Extron, Biamp, AMX, Crestron, ISF) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead AV system integration projects, coordinating technicians and subcontractors.
  • Perform system testing, verifications, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Provide on-site design, programming, and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Train clients on system operations and deliver a seamless project turnover.
