About The Position

WeLink is building the future of home internet using advanced wireless technology to deliver fiber-like speeds without the fiber buildout. Our mission is simple: provide faster, more reliable, and more affordable internet—without the headaches of traditional providers. We’re growing quickly and looking for skilled, safety-focused Field Installation Technicians who are comfortable working hands-on in the field and directly with customers. This is a field-based, physical role combining technical installation and customer interaction. Daily work involves being on rooftops and ladders at heights, and outdoor work in varying weather conditions. The role is physically active, requiring lifting, climbing, and carrying equipment, and involves independent field work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

6+ months of installation, telecom, construction, or trade experience
Basic understanding of networking (routers, Wi-Fi, connectivity)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working at heights (rooftops, ladders)
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Good communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (past 5 years)
Must be 21+ (vehicle requirements)
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Comfortable using tools, equipment, and mobile devices
Easily capable of maneuvering from ladder to roof and roof to ladder

Responsibilities

Install wireless internet equipment including radios, routers, modems, and cabling
Perform rooftop installations using ladders and safety equipment
Run and secure cabling on residential properties
Configure routers and basic networking equipment
Troubleshoot connectivity issues and resolve service problems
Educate customers on their new internet service
Maintain a professional, customer-first experience
