Department Profile The Field Management division consists of Morgan Stanley’s network of ~16K Financial Advisors across ~600 branches representing $4.2T in client assets. The group is responsible for acquiring new assets for the firm’s full-service Wealth Management business, managing client relationships, and driving initiatives related to increasing the breadth of client relationships. The Division is split between Wealth Management Field and Field Management Home Office (Corporate Management team). The F ield Management Home Office: internal “corporate” team is responsible for managing and driving strategic initiatives for the broader Wealth Management Field organization; various teams include Field CAO, Business Development and Field Training, Private & International Wealth Management, Field Business Risk and Field Business Management & Strategy Field Business Management & Strategy (“FBMS”) reports directly to the Head of Field Management and is focused on partnering with the Field leadership team and other senior members of Wealth Management to analyze, define, drive, and manage the top strategic priorities of the organization. The team’s responsibilities are split across five verticals: 1) FA Compensation Policy & Program Management, 2) Manager Compensation Policy & Program Management, 3) Former Advisor Program, 4) Manager & Financial Advisor Facing Platforms & Solutions, and 5) Field Strategy & Engagement. Position Summary The Business Management Assistant Vice President (AVP) will play a strategic role in the Manager Compensation Policy team within the FBMS organization. This position is designed for a dynamic and strategic professional who will help drive and manage key components of the Manager Compensation policy. The AVP will work closely with senior management and Field leadership to ensure the effective execution of the program.
