What You'll Do: As a Field Assistant – Parks, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and cleanliness of city parks and municipal facilities.
Requirements
- Experienced in general grounds maintenance or landscaping
- Comfortable using and maintaining outdoor equipment and tools
- Physically able to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Team-oriented, dependable, and safety-conscious
Responsibilities
- Performing landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding , and general grounds keeping
- Cleaning and maintaining restrooms, playgrounds, picnic areas, and pavilions
- Assisting in minor repairs , maintenance of irrigation systems , and upkeep of municipal buildings
- Operating landscaping tools and equipment safely (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers )
- Ensuring public spaces are safe, clean, and welcoming for all
