In this role, you will join a highly dynamic Customer Support Metrology Applications Engineering team based in Boise, Idaho, focusing on Yieldstar technology. Your work will span sustaining activities, new product introductions (NPI), and customer-driven projects. You will collaborate closely with project leaders and team members within your sector, applying your expertise to solve complex customer challenges from multiple angles. You will translate customer requirements into existing product capabilities for a single competency and demonstrate the value of ASML solutions in specific customer scenarios, applying acquired knowledge to address customer problems and deliver industry-leading solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with equivalent years of experience and demonstrated skills, or a Master’s degree or PhD in a technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum 3 years experience within the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with utilizing MATLAB, Python, JMP, or similar software.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in data analysis, including analyzing technical data to summarize and present findings.
  • Extensive experience with stakeholder and change management.
  • Must have strong organizational, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Detailed oriented individuals with strong critical thinking, problem solving and follow-up skills.
  • Fast learner with strong self-motivation to grow technically; be able to perform job at high standard with minimum supervision and demonstrated ability to thrive in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize actions effectively and efficiently.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Self-starter that shows high drive, creativity, ambition and accountability.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with different stakeholders internally (Account Team, Business Development Managers, Project team, D&E, VHV headquarter, etc.) and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Participate and/or lead projects which are aimed at supporting our customer transition to a new technology node or ramp up a specific technology node.
  • Own workstreams within a larger project and able to develop and drive autonomously a project plan and chase a successful execution with regular updates to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translate a customer on-product issue into a potential lithography or metrology related problem statement, resolve these issues to help them maximize the performance and use of ASML products.
  • Participate in pro-actively identifying ASML applications product opportunities for our customer.
  • Conduct data analysis to ensure that the correct conclusions are drawn from customers acquired experimental data and results reported to ASML and customer.
  • Meet with internal and external customers to maintain two-way level of commitment to keep all involved and affected parties informed of progress.
  • Prepare technical presentations for customer meetings, provide new user support, and assists sales.
  • Learn and exercise the ASML metrology product portfolio and maximize the application of ASML products & options to the benefit of the customer.
