About The Position

The purpose of this position is to perform basic functions to insure efficient daily operations of the Feed Mill. Key Responsibilities: Mixing and loading poultry feed for delivery to multiple farm locations Apply knowledge of SQF and Safe Food/Safe Feed practices during all mill activities Receiving and maintenance of ingredient inventories Preventative maintenance and repair of mill and related equipment Maintaining a clean safe Mill environment Provide back-up support to Mill Manager as required Other duties as assigned To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good communication skills with a teamwork attitude are essential.
• Self-motivation with a drive for safe quality feed is required.
• Computer skills, Word, Excel required.
• Mathematical ability is required.
• Stand and walk constantly; grip, grasp, push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, lift up to 60 pounds frequently; sit, climb, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to climb up to 150ft by ladder.

Nice To Haves

• Agricultural experience is preferred
• Prior experience in a feed mill is preferred.
• Training in preventative maintenance programs, mechanical and electrical systems desirable.
• Knowledge of production agriculture desirable.
