About The Position
Do you have a passion for supporting families and helping young children thrive? YCCAC Head Start is seeking a compassionate and motivated Family Liaison to partner with families and connect them to resources that support their children’s growth, health, and success.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Experience working with families or individuals
- Willingness to complete the Online Family Partner Certificate Program (paid by employer)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel
- Required immunizations (MMR, TDaP) and background checks
Nice To Haves
- associate’s degree in human services preferred
Responsibilities
- Support families in setting goals and accessing community resources
- Assist with recruitment and enrollment
- Partner with staff to strengthen family engagement
- Help families meet health requirements and coordinate referrals
- Conduct home and center visits (minimum two home visits per year)
- Participate in evening meetings and outreach as needed
