About The Position

This position is responsible for: Plans, administers, monitors, and evaluates the day-to-day operations of our Family Store with a limited staff ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures; processes, displays, and prices donated items to ensure a maximum financial return on the sale of store items; assists customers in a polite and friendly manner; prepares store displays that are attractive, neat, and orderly; rotates and re-stocks store merchandise to ensure quick turnover; ensures the accountability and security of all store items and funds; serves as a supervisor and/or lead worker to volunteers and/or subordinate store personnel.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D AND Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a retail environment, OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within established timeframe)
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations.
  • Ability to perform frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting relieved by lesser periods of sitting.
  • Work is performed in a retail and warehouse environment where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
