Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field that is licensable by the Kansas BSRB
• 2+ years working with kids and families required (bonus points if you’ve got experience in foster care)
• Licensed by the Kansas BSRB (or you’ve applied to get licensed)
• A driver’s license and auto insurance (You’ll need a car for this role!)
• A compassionate heart and a passion for helping others

Responsibilities

• Travel to meet with foster families and offer support (yep, there’s driving involved!)
• Be a crisis responder and offer on-call support when families need it the most
• Help train and recruit awesome new foster families
• Lead meetings, attend court hearings, and work directly with families and kids to keep them safe and supported
• Provide direct services and connect families to local resources for extra support
• Stay organized and get stuff done! (Yep, paperwork is part of the job)
