Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Full Time Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician for Primary Care to join our team at Mathews Medical Center in Mathews, Virginia. Join Our Growing Primary Care Network Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity – Full-Time 📍 Mathews, Virginia Riverside Medical Group is expanding its Primary Care Network and is actively seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physicians to join our dedicated team. Position Overview We are looking for compassionate, mission-driven physicians who share our commitment: “To care for others as we would care for those we love.” As a valued member of our Primary Care team, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Education: MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Licensure: Active Virginia medical license (or eligibility)
  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • DEA Registration: Current and valid

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team
  • Perform comprehensive history and physical assessments
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and recommend non-pharmacological treatments
  • Coordinate care with specialists and other providers
  • Educate patients and families on health management and prevention
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Mentor and support clinical staff
  • Uphold ethical and confidentiality standards
