You're detail-oriented , having an eye for detail and ensuring accuracy in legal documents and filings. You’re fast-paced with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously. You're organized , possessing exceptional organizational abilities in your approach to legal proceedings and documentation. About the Job You’ll be responsible for: Providing support to one of our Certified Family Law Specialists Carefully crafting important court filings and supporting documents, including pleadings, initial filings, Requests for Orders, discovery, client declarations, stipulations, and temporary restraining orders. Expertly researching statutes, case law, opinions, briefs, and other information needed for our cases. Assiduously following up on correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and experts. Vigorously representing our clients and their interests.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a family law attorney
- Must have a Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA accredited law school
- CA State Bar License, required
- This role requires an attorney who welcomes rigorous attention to detail, maintains composure under pressure, and works well with driven, exacting colleagues
Responsibilities
- Providing support to one of our Certified Family Law Specialists
- Carefully crafting important court filings and supporting documents, including pleadings, initial filings, Requests for Orders, discovery, client declarations, stipulations, and temporary restraining orders.
- Expertly researching statutes, case law, opinions, briefs, and other information needed for our cases.
- Assiduously following up on correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.
- Vigorously representing our clients and their interests.
