About The Position

Family Enrollment Coordinator (Full-Time) Are you passionate about making a difference when families need it most? Ronald McDonald House of Tampa Bay is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Family Enrollment Coordinator to support families navigating some of the most challenging moments of their lives. In this role, you'll be a key point of connection-processing referrals, coordinating stays, and helping ensure our Houses remain the warm, supportive environments we're known for. Job Summary The Family Enrollment Coordinator is a full-time position responsible for processing incoming stay requests and referrals from families and hospital partners, while also supporting specialty programs as needed. This role may also serve as Manager-on-Duty on an as-needed basis, assisting with guest services, responding to emergencies, and ensuring proper registration and check-out procedures. All responsibilities are carried out with hospitality, professionalism, and compassion while maintaining the safety and security of our Houses. About Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay Ronald McDonald House of Tampa Bay has supported children and families since 1980 by providing essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. Our primary program, the Ronald McDonald House, offers a home-away-from-home for families with children receiving medical treatment at Tampa Bay hospitals and outpatient centers. RMHCTB operates four Houses across Tampa Bay-three in St. Petersburg and one in Tampa.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, confidentiality, and care
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working within databases and learning new systems
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Occasional travel to Tampa (Davis Islands) required
  • Mileage reimbursement provided for business-related travel
  • Ability to meet partner hospital health requirements
  • Willingness to complete CPR training every two years and annual fire alarm training

  • Spanish proficiency / bilingual ability

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming family referrals and enrollment requests accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate with hospital partners and internal teams to support family stays
  • Maintain accurate records within databases and tracking systems
  • Support specialty programming initiatives as assigned
  • Serve as Manager-on-Duty when needed, including responding to urgent situations
  • Assist with guest services and help foster a welcoming, home-like environment
  • Uphold confidentiality, safety protocols, and organizational standards at all times
