Family Connections Consultant
About The Position
As a Family Connections Consultant, you will support vulnerable families referred by the Department of Child Safety, helping them meet the basic needs of their children, prevent child maltreatment, and/or eliminate danger. You will work up to 5 months in the homes and in the community with children/youth and their families to conduct initial assessments and service plans to address child safety needs. This role involves intervention, linking to community resources, progress evaluations, and parent training and education. You will meet with the parents/caregivers 1-2 times per week and observe the children/youth at least once a week.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, etc.) and 1 year or more of human service field experience
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, DCS Clearance, and First Aid/CPR Certification
- Current Arizona State Driver’s License with a good driving record for the past 3 years
- Current personal vehicle liability insurance and vehicle registration
Responsibilities

Benefits
- $20.75 - $23.00/hr.
- The sign-on bonus of $1000 is divided into 60 and 90 days.
- Mileage reimbursement of $0.66/mile.
