About The Position
Grand Canyon University is Arizona’s premier private Christian university. The Colangelo College of Business offers rewarding opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach for our online campus. Course: Faith-Inspired Leadership in Property Management This course is designed to empower current and future leaders in residential property management by integrating biblical wisdom with industry best practices. Students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to lead with compassion and to become capable of addressing both the housing and spiritual needs of residents across diverse demographic groups. Through a curriculum that balances principles of faith, leadership, and performance, participants learn how to manage properties effectively, foster thriving communities, and contribute to the long-term value and profitability of real estate assets. Emphasizing a holistic approach, this course encourages students to adopt sustainable, servant leadership strategies that support resident well-being, harmonious communities, and the achievement of ownership objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a minimum of 5 years commercial or residential property management experience.
- Graduate degree must be from a regionally accredited university or either AACSB accredited program or ACBSP accredited program or international equivalent.
- Your unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
- Any applicable licenses/certifications
Nice To Haves
- Preferred: PhD/DBA Management or Doctorate in a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years corporate or residential property management experience.
- Preferred: Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS), CPM-IREM, or comparable professional, property management industry certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
- Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
- Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
