About The Position

Grand Canyon University is Arizona’s premier private Christian university. The Colangelo College of Business offers rewarding opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach for our online campus.
Course: Disaster Recovery This course addresses disaster recovery and the core capabilities required to promote comprehensive recovery within communities impacted by disaster. Students examine issues related to restoring infrastructure, businesses and the economy, and human and environmental health.

Requirements

• Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Masters in a business discipline AND 5 or more years of experience related to disaster response and recovery

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate in a related discipline.
• If Doctorate is not in a business discipline a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
• Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
• Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
