The School of Education at Utah Valley University invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Student Leadership and Success Studies Department focusing on first-year experience and transition studies, student success and retention, student development, leadership, and peer mentoring to begin August 2026. The successful candidate will join a dynamic department of faculty who are committed to a student-centered, engaged approach to teaching and learning. Successful applicants will be expected to obtain International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Certification within one year of hire if they are not already ISTE Certified, as part of our School of Education's commitment to innovation and excellence in digital teaching and learning. They will also review, revise and develop curriculum, engage in scholarly activities, pursue professional development designed to improve teaching and scholarship, and participate in department, college and university service, including department leadership.
