At the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, we are working to lift the burden of cancer from the world. The institute focuses on the early detection, prevention, and treatment of cancer, precision oncology, and creating a welcoming and supportive environment for its caregivers, researchers, and support personnel. The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university's missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service. The duties of this position are in support of the missions, goals and objectives of OHSU, the School of Medicine, the University hospitals and clinics and include: Drive and participate in the research mission of the university, as applied to patients with multiple myeloma; Participate in the education of medical students and house staff in accordance with assignments to the department by the Curriculum Committee and Chair. It is anticipated this position will be made up of the following components: Research, Clinical, Teaching, and Service. The faculty member will join the Myeloma Team and will collaborate closely with the transplant and cellular therapy programs.
