About The Position

Inspire Future Business Leaders as an Adjunct Faculty Member at CWI! Are you passionate about teaching and helping students succeed in business? The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to deliver engaging instruction in Business courses, using innovative teaching methods to reach a diverse student population. Additional Instructions For Applicants: Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Requirements

• Master's degree in Business or related field from an accredited institution
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for in-person, online, and hybrid formats
• Proficiency with technology tools, including LMS platforms and Microsoft Office
• Commitment to professional growth and student success
• Reliable transportation for travel between campuses

Nice To Haves

• Postsecondary teaching experience preferred (3+ years ideal)

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in accordance with CWI catalog descriptions
• Utilize Blackboard for grading, communication, and course management
• Hold regular office hours to support student success
• Explore innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes
• Monitor and record student progress accurately
• Participate in instructional evaluation processes
• Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and learning needs
• Contribute to team efforts and uphold CWI's values
