About The Position

The Factory Controller will be responsible for robust financial oversight within a manufacturing environment at Vanderlande, a global market leader in logistic process automation for airports, parcel markets, and warehousing. This role involves comprehensive financial management, analysis, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with Vanderlande’s financial policies and J-SOX standards. The successful candidate will partner with factory leadership and cross-functional teams to provide critical financial insights, support data-driven decision-making, and lead monthly financial review meetings. The position also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, change management projects, and process automation efforts in collaboration with the D&A and Transformation Office. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven +10 years of experience in financial business partnering within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in financial software and analytical tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective communicator and team player with the ability to multitask and plan efficiently
  • Self-starter focused on outcomes and professional growth in an international and ambitious environment
  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and high standards of integrity in financial matters

Responsibilities

  • Execute core factory controlling responsibilities to ensure robust financial oversight
  • Collect, analyze, and report financial data related to factory operations
  • Support monthly IC revenue, CM, EBIT forecasting, and annual budget development
  • Build business cases for capital and operational expenditures
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities proactively
  • Develop and apply analytical tools to support data-driven decision-making
  • Align financial efforts with strategic objectives across functions
  • Partner with factory leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Lead monthly financial review meetings to support accurate forecasting
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management
  • Ensure compliance with Vanderlande’s financial policies and J-SOX standards
  • Document and enforce finance processes aligned with global practices
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and change management projects
  • Support process automation and transformation efforts in collaboration with the D&A and Transformation Office
