About The Position

The Factory Controller will be responsible for robust financial oversight within a manufacturing environment at Vanderlande, a global market leader in logistic process automation for airports, parcel markets, and warehousing. This role involves comprehensive financial management, analysis, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with Vanderlande’s financial policies and J-SOX standards. The successful candidate will partner with factory leadership and cross-functional teams to provide critical financial insights, support data-driven decision-making, and lead monthly financial review meetings. The position also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, change management projects, and process automation efforts in collaboration with the D&A and Transformation Office. Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Proven +10 years of experience in financial business partnering within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in financial software and analytical tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Effective communicator and team player with the ability to multitask and plan efficiently
Self-starter focused on outcomes and professional growth in an international and ambitious environment
Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and high standards of integrity in financial matters

Responsibilities

Execute core factory controlling responsibilities to ensure robust financial oversight
Collect, analyze, and report financial data related to factory operations
Support monthly IC revenue, CM, EBIT forecasting, and annual budget development
Build business cases for capital and operational expenditures
Identify financial risks and opportunities proactively
Develop and apply analytical tools to support data-driven decision-making
Align financial efforts with strategic objectives across functions
Partner with factory leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights
Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Lead monthly financial review meetings to support accurate forecasting
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management
Ensure compliance with Vanderlande’s financial policies and J-SOX standards
Document and enforce finance processes aligned with global practices
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and change management projects
Support process automation and transformation efforts in collaboration with the D&A and Transformation Office
