About The Position

Reporting directly to Maintenance Manager/Operations Manager within the maintenance department, the Facility Maintenance I position is responsible is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within the facility. This role includes routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Requirements

1-3 years previous experience in general maintenance or building trade; willingness to learn and advance.
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong aptitude for and proficiency navigating Systems and Programs
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone
Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, late evenings
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered for this role

Nice To Haves

Experience in interior design, custom home building products, luxury home furnishings and/or lighting industry a plus

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces throughout the facility.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
Empty trash and recycling bins; replace liners as needed.
Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, reporting repairs).
Operate cleaning equipment safely and maintain good working conditions.
Follow established cleaning schedules and safety protocols.
Respond promptly to spills, hazards, or emergency cleaning needs.
Assist with event setup and breakdown as required.
Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.

Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule. While being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.
