Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a Facility Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide senior-level technical leadership and integration support for U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) facility modernization efforts. This role serves as the primary technical authority bridging civil construction, secure facility requirements, and mission IT infrastructure, ensuring physical spaces are purpose-built to support modern Command and Control (C2) operations. The Facility Infrastructure SME will ensure that telecommunications rooms, SCIFs, SAP-F spaces, and mission support areas are designed and executed in accordance with DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) standards, while supporting high-density power, cooling, and fiber-optic infrastructure required for mission systems. Serving as the lead technical authority for facility infrastructure supporting mission IT, networks, and systems within SCIF, SAP-F, and controlled environments Providing technical oversight and direction for structured cabling systems (fiber and copper), telecommunications room (TR) design, equipment room layouts, and high-density IT rack deployments Ensuring facility designs support power, cooling, grounding, bonding, pathways, and space requirements for mission-critical IT and AV systems Reviewing, validating, and providing technical approval of infrastructure drawings, floor plans, engineering submittals, and as-built documentation against mission and security requirements Ensuring full compliance with applicable standards, including Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), ICD 705, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 Technical Specifications, SIPRNET Infrastructure Planning Handbook (SIPH), and BICSI telecommunications standards Supporting SCIF and secure space accreditation efforts by coordinating infrastructure requirements with security, IT, and engineering stakeholders Developing and reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and technical cost inputs for facility fit-outs and upgrades Conducting site surveys, walkthroughs, construction progress inspections, and acceptance inspections to validate installation quality and readiness for mission hardware and systems Coordinating with architects, civil engineers, IT engineers, security personnel, and program managers to resolve design conflicts and implementation risks Supporting facility transitions, stand-up activities, and phased occupancy plans for new or modified mission spaces Developing and maintaining technical documentation, standards, and guidance related to facility infrastructure design and implementation Identifying infrastructure risks and recommending mitigation strategies to ensure schedule, cost, and mission success #LI-LH1
