About The Position

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent education and/or experience; Demonstrated knowledge of the management of entertainment or convention facilities; Minimum of three to five years of previous successful experience in the management of a similar facility; preferred Demonstrated leadership ability, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills; Minimum of three years of supervisory experience; Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, CAD, room scheduling, and room layout software program, preferred; Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays; Demonstrated skills necessary to work with representatives with maintenance, operations, human resources, campus personnel, and public assembly facilities. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Annual Contract: 250 days SALARY: $ (104,907) BA-8 Minimum Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Directs the policy, development, programming/booking, financial management, and marketing of facilities. Develop, monitor and evaluate facility budget and provide reports to supervisor and financial services on facility performance. Directs building services, including custodial, building maintenance, grounds maintenance, and food services operations. Responsible for direct support and coordination of event spaces. Direct facility event production meetings/planning sessions and ensure that staffing and equipment needs for events are met. Review, update and train staff on emergency plans and public safety/security policies and procedures in accordance with CFPD/Emergency Management Department. Hire, direct and supervise staff, including operations, maintenance, café, and audio/visual. Plan, organize, schedule, coordinate, and communicate operations, events, and performances, including the use of technical /non-technical equipment with staff, campuses, and external groups. Create, update, share and maintain a master calendar for scheduling events and activities. Ensure that all events and activities are conducted within board policies and administrative regulations. Oversee the ticketing systems, ticket input and sales, customer relations, house management, and usher supervision. Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Superintendent or Superintendent.
